Firstly, it is the digit ratio THEORY, and I know from examining the hands of straight friends that it is sometimes incorrect. Furthermore, Pyro is wearing rubber gloves, so his finger length in those gloves might not be exact. Finally, take a look at the Sniper's hand:
It's got the index finger longer than the ring finger! Is the Sniper gay? Highly unlikely! If you are still not convinced, then look at the hand of the ultimate ladies-man:
Again, that index finger is longer than the ring finger. You might argue by saying that since his hand is in a glove, it might be different, but that will only prove my other point.
For the final major piece of evidence that shoots down his statement about digit ratio theory, look at this:
Yes. When the Pyro does the masculine version of the Director's Taunt, his fingers are in a more masculine position, with the index finger being shorter than the ring finger.
Of course, this post won't be looking at only the digit ratio theory.
That Game Theory episode also discusses Pyroland, and uses that as evidence for the Pyro being either a gay male or a straight female.
As we all know, the Pyro isn't the only one that can use Pyrovision. Every class can use it, and plus, Pyros will only see Pyroland if they have certain items equipped. We can also conclude that the Pyro featured in Meet the Pyro is a different Pyro, since he was so powerful and nonstoppable. In other Meet the Team videos (Meet the Sniper and Meet the Soldier), he was very easily killed with no trouble. Plus, he was using the Scorch Shot in Meet the Pyro, but he can be seen with a Flare Gun in Meet the Sniper instead.
We also know that it is possible for more than one Pyros to exist in the Meet the Team series, since countless Soldiers were seen together in Meet the Medic.
Also, just throwing this out myself: the Pyro is insanely strong. He can lift a huge homemade Flamethrower, a large sledgehammer, a road sign, a large pole with a golden eagle on it, and even a heavy tank of air on his back. Even with all of these insane weights he must carry, he can still run as fast as a Spy or Sniper. He can even run faster when carrying a large makeshift hammer made from a car jack.
Finally, on to the Pyro's purse: maybe it isn't his. The Spy is known for being a sneaky trickster and stuff, so maybe he pranked Pyro by placing the purse in Pyro's locker. His locker is right next to the Pyro's anyway.
Honestly, I'm not trying to conclude who the Pyro is. I honestly think that (s)he is a male, but we may never know. Only Gaben knows, and only he can tell us, assuming he ever will. It is very likely that the Pyro's identity will remain a mystery forever, but this post was just to conclude that MatPat (I think that's how you spell the name of the guy that made Game Theory) is just some guy that makes people believe everything he says by using puns and saying big, scientific words to make himself seem smart.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
